Abstract

This research explores the role of teachers in improving the quality of schools, with a focus on SMA Unggulan Bina Insan Mulia. Teachers have multifaceted roles, including being educators, facilitators, managers, demonstrators, mentors, motivators, and evaluators. The research results indicate that teachers play a crucial role in efforts to enhance school quality. Particularly, they excel as facilitators, helping to develop the potential of students. Collaboration among teachers, school principals, students, and other components in the school is the key to success. Teachers who can engage students effectively in the teaching and learning process and perform well as facilitators have a positive impact on school quality. Accurate assessment and evaluation also play an essential role in this improvement. Therefore, the effective role of teachers is a key factor in achieving the status of an outstanding school.
