Author Guidelines

INTERES: Journal of Interdisciplinary and Integrated Research

INTERES: Journal of Interdisciplinary and Integrated Research accepts articles based on conceptual work, research findings, and community service in the fields of education and integrated interdisciplinary studies. The main focus includes theories and practices of learning, educational policy, curriculum development, instructional materials, models, methods, and learning media at primary, secondary, and higher education levels.


General Writing Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be written using Microsoft Word, with a length of 3,000–4,000 words (including references, footnotes, and tables).

  • Authors must attach a statement of originality confirming that the article has not been previously published in any form or media.


Manuscript Structure

  1. Title

    • Maximum 12 words for articles in Indonesian and 10 words for articles in English.

    • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold.

  2. Author Name

    • Placed under the title, without academic degree, not abbreviated.

    • Font: Times New Roman, 11 pt, bold.

    • Include affiliation and email address below the name.

  3. Abstract

    • Written in Bahasa Indonesia or English, maximum 200 words, in one paragraph.

    • Should include: objectives, methods, analytical techniques, and research results.

    • Font: Times New Roman, 11 pt, single-spaced; English abstracts should be in italic.

  4. Keywords

    • Maximum of 5 keywords, separated by commas, written in italic, Times New Roman 11 pt.

    • Two spaces after the abstract.


Main Sections (All headings centered, all-caps, bold, 12 pt, black background)

  • INTRODUCTION
    Contains the background, urgency, literature review, problem formulation, objectives, and hypotheses or proposed solutions.
    Content: Times New Roman 11 pt, normal.

  • RESEARCH METHOD
    Explains the research approach, scope of the object, operational definitions of variables, location and subjects, main tools and materials, and data collection and analysis techniques.
    Content: Times New Roman 11 pt, normal.

  • RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
    Presents the research findings in detail and aligned with the focus. May include tables, charts, and diagrams. All tables and figures must be numbered and titled. Results should be logically analyzed and discussed with relevant literature.
    Content: Times New Roman 11 pt, normal.

  • CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
    Summarizes key findings as answers to the research questions. Recommendations should be based on the findings to support further scientific development and practical application.
    Content: Times New Roman 11 pt, normal.

  • REFERENCES
    Lists all cited sources, with at least 80% from publications within the last 10 years.
    Use APA Style 5th Edition, Times New Roman 11 pt.
